Drabble- Through My Eyes by Southernfrau

Sadly, Southernfrau is no longer with us. Her stories are archived here for her friends to remember her by. Enjoy her legacy to Lancer.

Disclaimer: Here’s where I supposedly admit (fingers crossed) the Lancer characters ain’t mine (without conviction in the validity of the insincere statement). Apparently the functional moron with opposable thumbs that created the characters didn’t have the where-with-all or creativity to use them to their utmost potential. Where as we the Lancer Writers use them until they’re worn down to just a nub (some more than others…..I won’t call names, but I will flat out accuse Winj and Kona).

Gratuitous Author Notes:
Kona: I moved your squeak again, shiver me Lancers, see how fast you can find it.
Scott and Teresa could not appear as they were being detained in a lip-locking kiss and embrace on the beach.

This disclaimer was my backhanded attempt to slip through a loophole and have more to say than just 100 words. <VBG>

Through My Eyes

Feminine hands smoothed the dark hair into place and then wiped the moisture from the sweaty forehead. Blue eyes observed the gracefulness of hands that spent hours tending to his family. He wondered if she was happy, if she realized how important she was to the people of this house. Deciding not to live with any more regrets, he moved so that his eyes captured her startled eyes in the mirror. She squeaked, whirled around eyes dropping guiltily for having been found daydreaming. Towering over the short woman, Murdoch smiled, “Elegant, breath taking! You are purty, Maria.”

Between two evils, I always pick the one I haven’t tried.
